the island of lost toys

I maybe actually lose things quite a bit...maybe more than the average person. I'm not completely sure but I'm pretty sure that I do. I lost my passport for a while, more than one set of keys, a camera battery charger, and the latest and greatest disaster.....my ipod. I'm going to blame these losses on the fact that I have so many important things going on in my mind that I put it down somewhere and then don't remember where. Or just more stuff on my mind that I don't pay attention to these little details.... But whatever the reason, it happens. The ipod though is physicallly making me distressed. I think about it all the time and I am so physically annoyed that I start shaking if I think about it too long. Here's why it bothers me so bad. I have looked EVERY possible place that I can think of. This might seem like an exaggeration. But it is not. With the help of Abbey I have not only looked but scoured every possible place every nook and cranny that I can think of. To no avail. I'm not used to this kind of rejection from anything which is making my annoyance even worse. Aside from having no music I am thwarted by every attempt to look. I get my hopes up every time I think of a new place thinking oh my gosh it must be there! And then BAM!!!! YOU LOSE HEIDI! So harsh! I am so annoyed that I almost bought a new ipod today to just be done with it. Thankfully I guess Abbey saved me from that. I just am tired of this inaction. So if anyone has any ideas of an OBSCURE location I may have overlooked please let me know. For the record I have looked in all food storage areas of my house, my clothes pockets, cars, and under the bed. Lame.

Speaking of lame, saw Monsters and Aliens last night and I think the best line was Rainn Wilson at the beginning saying in a monotone "The Omega Quadrant? LAAAMMEEE." Ha

Good thing it was recently your birthday and your parents were in town and could buy you a new one for it! Oh, and the craft thing? Lets talk about that.
